Today was a very important day for all of us. A day filled with excitment, nerves and a lot of fun. Competition was held at Aberdeen Business School. Four teams competing against each other for the first place. Bank of Scotland was awarding the winner £500,-

18th April’08…a very special day for Adeel. We made it even more special and fun by surprising him 4 times and him not finding out even once. Let me tell you how his day went…
Birthday cake arrived as the clock striked midnight…
After a good night sleep, all of us got ready and head off to university for our presentation. Nerves and excitment both were in the air. Mangaging to do a great presentation, got us a grade A and in the top three finalists. Adeel’s Birthday couldn’t be better. After a short meeting about our presentation, Adeel went to the Mosque for his friday afternoon prayers. Betty, Stephany, Gregor, Prathdeep and me, had loads to do since the day was filled with surprises and everything needed to be arranged.
We had to meet up with Adeel for drinks in two hours at Revolution. Meanwhile, we picked up Adeel’s Birthday cookie, tried getting a table for the dinner surprise, arrange tickets for Pearl Lounge (surprise Bday party at nite) and get changed to see Adeel at Revolution. I was constantly on the phone, sending out invites and arranging everything plus making sure he doesn’t find out a single surprise. Madness all day…thank God Pradeep gave us a hand.
Since we already cut the cake, we did something different. We got Adeel his favourite cookie, totally personalised.
After Revolution, Adeel was taken home by Stephany, Betty and Greg. We decided to watch a movie and chill. Pradeep and me went to Pearl Lounge to get tickets and make arrangements for the night. On our way back to the flat we handed out tickets. Table for dinner was booked at Manzil (an Indian restuarant) for 7.30pm.
Pradeep and me went back to the flat and joined everyone for the movie. Greg went out to hand tickets to all our friends. Struggling to get out of the flat because Adeel wanted us to be with him. We managed to make a good excuse and head to the restuarant where some of our other friends joined us. Greg was responsible to bring him to the restuarant. Half an hour after us, Greg managed to walk in with Adeel. Surpriseeeeeeeeeeeeeee….
Sreedish made sure we had a birthday cake for dessert…
Dinner all done…whats next…of course the bday party at Pearl Lounge. Adeel was in the mood to go out but Betty, Stephany and me told him we can’t go coz we have plans. Yet again disappointing him but planning him a great night and VIP treatment at Pearl Lounge. Here is his final surprise…

After travelling almost 400miles around Scotland, we are back home in Aberdeen. It was an awesome trip.
3 cars with 11 people left Aberdeen on saturday morning. First stop was Inverness…we took the route through the mountains which were covered with snow. We went to Lochness…didn’t see the monster, guess we scared him. Falls of Foyers, checked out the water falls. Not to forget we went to Fort George but weren’t lucky enough to see any dolphins. We drove through the amazing Highlands of Scotland. Last but not least we went to Cardingorm mountains, Aviemore.
Enjoying the amazing view and having snow fights wherever we could stop, made the trip more fun.

Just want to say Thanks to Adeel for his great driving skills, all of us got home safely. Well done Bro!!!
Last week Friday (7th March08) I went to the Fishermoss Primary School. Children had prepared a dance for their school project on India. Dance was great…! I taught them some of my moves. It was great fun working with the kids. They loved the camera.

Every two weeks we have a lab exam for Management of Change. We have one this evening between 5 & 6pm. So everyone has locked themselves up to study for this mini exam. Good Luck to everyone!!
