Desi Nite! Valentine Special

16 02 2008

Thursday it was D-Day,

Next to all the other commercially exploited (special) days we have,
Every 14th of February we also have Valentine.

On this very special occasion we first had Uni and then we went to Desi Nite,
As I didn’t want to show up empty handed, I hunted through Aberdeen’s seeking a good gift for Stephany.
Finally I found a set of jewellery that looked nice. Fortunately Stephany thought the same and liked the gift.
Betty’s Indian valentine had bought her gifts aswell. Valentine is more in the favor of the female population, as guys only end up spending money :) Nonetheless, it was a succesfull evening.

Our weak friend Greg, had refused to participate and stayed home (initially!),
Later on the night Greg joined us with some of our other Dutch friend.
(Trully a man of his word :P ) But we had fun, it was quite full and some rather odd events made the
nite even more interesting :)

Thanks to Amrit we have loads of pictures. Most of them are available through Facebook; however I have pasted a few down here aswell. :)

Enjoy ;)

    Fully completed!

  • New Modules

The new semester has started and the following modules are introduced to us.

    • Management of Change

Is about how management should react to changes to its environment internally and extrenally.
It focusses on stakeholders, corporate culture, ongoing development of organisation.

    • Management of Innovation

This module focuses on how important it is for organisations to keep investing in R&D and what effect this has on our environment.

    • Business Project

The core of the Business Project is for us to understand what makes a business plan complete and feasible. In order to understand this to its full extend, RGU must have conceived that the best way for us to learn it is buy actually performing it. Our task is to bring a feasible business plan on the table and present it to an experienced panel, which will decide upon the quality of the work.

    Now what..

    Party & Study? :P
