A tiny tour..

28 10 2007

Hi Readers,

Today I will attempt to show you around and share things we encounter.

First of all, the excellent sight you have from our flat.
The complete complex is filled with RGU Students and its quite fun to live here.
We are quite lucky as we have the recently upgraded flats.

Picture stolen from Stephany’s profile :) This is a picture of the Aberdeen Business School a.k.a. ABS. This is one out of three buildings. As the name suggests all the Business related courses are delivered in this building. The library is also located in this building.

This is RGU Union. This is where all the RGU Students hang out. It is actually pretty cool, there are loads of screens, pool tables and sofa’s :) And for those interested, cheap booze is also available ;) It is usaly a good place to start a night out and we also tend to go down there when we are bored.

So last but not least, the RGU Mascot! He looks totally cool and brutal :)

Sadly enough, this is the end of the tiny tour.. :)

I will post more soon :)

We are Back! Now blogging!

Hey readers!

Sorreeyyy (Scot style) for not posting, it has been quite a busy and hectic period.
After our first day of University we had to figure out our schedules.
Which has changed several times in a short period of time, a schedule that is spread over 27 pages is not exactly user-friendly..

Soo what has happened in this period in which I was not able to update you..
An occasion definitely worth mentioning is Betty’s birthday.
Betty just recently turned 21 years oldyoung :)   To celebrate this, we decided to throw her an amazing partyyy!
Betty’s morning started with a HUGE CARD,

After this card we didn’t do anything that might cause Betty that we were planning something for her.
We invited our neighbours and some new friends to join us. We bought Betty a cake and dressed up the living room :)

A few pictures to help you visualize this event:

The complete Dutch gang, accompanied by french, Irish and Malaysian folks.

The five of us standing with Betty and her new Calender ;)

It costed Stephany much blood and tears to get Betty out of the house. Eventually it was a great success, we completely surprised Betty! We had a lot of fun that evening, It was delightful :)

Obviously we are not just having fun here, noo people, do not let all those happy faces fool you. We have followed tutorials, lectures and more lectures… and we have loads of pages to read… and this you cannot compare to Donald Duck’s!

In my next post I will provide more educational background, it will enlighten you with facinating facts and know-hows ;)

Look forward to seeing you next time :)
